I AM ME

I AM ME is a trauma-informed initiative supporting teen and young mothers by promoting maternal mental health through postpartum support, self-advocacy, parenting education, and supportive peer and community connections. 💖 A Community Celebration for Moms Who Give Everything

This past Mother’s Day, we created a space to uplift and support mothers in our community — especially those who are young, single, or navigating difficult seasons. Through a warm brunch, thoughtful gifts, and meaningful connection, we aimed to ensure every mom who attended felt valued and cared for.

The event was inspired by lived experience. Some of us at Ardyn Hope know firsthand the challenges of motherhood — and that understanding made this gathering all the more meaningful.

Workshops

Empowering Students Through the I AM ME Workshop

On November 12, 2025, Ardyn Hope hosted another inspiring I AM ME Empowerment Workshop, bringing together young parents, community partners, and dedicated supporters for a morning of connection, learning, and encouragement.

This workshop focused on empowering teen and young parents through trauma-informed education, hands-on activities, and open conversation. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions, explored resources tailored to their needs, and connected with organizations committed to their long-term wellness and success.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible partners — Children’s Health, Intuit, Natural Grocers, and Richardson ISD — whose support and collaboration made this event possible. We’re grateful to RISD for hosting us on their campus and to each partner for contributing resources, expertise, and encouragement to the families we serve.

Together, we continue building a community where young parents feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Thank you for being part of the I AM ME journey.

Our 2025 Mother’s Day Empowerment Brunch was a heartfelt celebration of love, strength & sisterhood!

Held during Maternal Mental Health Week, this unforgettable gathering brought together amazing women, powerful stories, and moments of joy, healing, and connection.

From the inspiring speakers to the soul-nourishing meal, every part of the day reminded us of the beauty that happens when community, purpose, and support come together.

Thank you to everyone who poured into this event — our partners, speakers, volunteers, and every mom who showed up and shared space with us. You are seen, you are valued, and you are never alone.

Healthy Meals, Healthy Families!

As part of our "Community Connections" initiative, Ardyn Hope Inc. hosted a cooking class this November aimed at teaching young parents how to prepare nutritious, affordable meals for their families. Our goal was to empower parents with the skills and knowledge to make healthy meal choices that benefit both their children’s growth and their own well-being.

Lake Highlands Community Resource Fair

Our recent Lake Highlands Community Resource Fair, in collaboration with the Thurgood Marshall Student Success Center, was a huge success! Community members came together to access valuable resources, connect with local organizations, and enjoy a day filled with support and empowerment.

A special thank you to our incredible vendors and partners, including Parkland Healthy Start, We Are The Village, Moody Breast Center, and Chester Culinary Services, whose delicious hot soup and sandwiches kept everyone warm. We are also deeply grateful to Thurgood Marshall Student Success Center for their dedication in making this event impactful.

Together, we are building stronger, healthier communities! 💙
