Founder & Board Chairperson – 2018
Nydra’s journey from single motherhood to founding Ardyn Hope, Inc. wasn’t just a personal one—it was a mission born from real-life struggles. Raising two children on her own, Nydra understood firsthand the challenges faced by families without resources. With over a decade of experience serving at-risk children, she built Ardyn Hope as a lifeline for those walking a path she knew all too well. Her focus? Equipping teen parents with the skills to thrive and ensuring that every family touched by her organization leaves stronger than before.

Dedra Arnold
Board Treasurer – 2024
Ms. Dedra is a mother of three and an experienced nurse of over 20 years. She has worked in various areas of nursing including wound care, trauma, and home health. She recently transitioned into an administrative role of nursing and is currently pursuing her BSN. She is a Chicago native that has resided in the DFW area since 2011. Her passion and empathic approach have allowed her help patients and families through various life and health challenges. She lives by the motto “driven by compassion, fueled by purpose.”

A proud graduate of Jackson State University, Myah’s strength lies in her deep commitment to service and communication. With a background in multimedia journalism and political science, Myah brings both critical thinking and compassion to her role. Her guiding principle? “If I could just touch one life, I have done my job.” It’s not just a belief—it’s a way of life that fuels her work with Ardyn Hope.

Evangelist Tammy Lewis is no stranger to overcoming challenges. Raised by a single mother in Southside Chicago, Tammy learned early on the importance of faith and hard work. Since accepting her ministry calling in 2007, she has used her time, talents, and treasures to support others, both in her community and through her work with Ardyn Hope. Her dedication is unwavering, her spirit contagious.

Robert Osei-Kissi
Board Member – 2024
Robert’s story is one of mentorship and resilience. As a trucking industry veteran, football fan, and chess player, he knows what it means to navigate complex challenges. After losing his brother to gun violence, Robert dedicated himself to mentoring youth, helping them avoid the pitfalls he’s seen too often. With his nonprofit certification from Collin College, he’s now using his voice to inspire the next generation.

For over two decades, Chitra has called the DFW area home. As a mother whose children have attended top universities, she’s no stranger to navigating the intricacies of education and community development. Whether through her work or her interactions, Arian’s focus is on helping others realize their potential.
