We are a 501c3 organization, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for vulnerable and at risk families through mental health educational groups, life skills training, and mentoring services. You can have a role in that! You will have exposure to diverse groups while you learn tangible ways to impact the local community. Interns will have the privilege to help foster those relationships and help improve lives. You will be a part of creating programs and helping provide services to those in need. Community Engagement Coordinator
We have an exciting opportunity to work in our nonprofit arm and work closely with the community to assist in the implementation of a sustainable culture of change within the diverse & vulnerable communities in the Dallas Metroplex Area. Individuals will obtain practical experience and receive hands-on training in various disciplines, including volunteer recruitment/management, community event planning and management, community partner networking/connection, and program development/ implementation. As a Community Engagement Coordinator you will be the first point of contact between the organization and the public. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain relationships with organizations, government agencies, and the community by creating effective communications strategies.
