Program Overview

I AM ME is Ardyn Hope's signature trauma-informed Maternal Mental Health & Resilience Initiative designed to improve emotional well-being, strengthen protective factors, and connect expectant and parenting young adults with the education, support, and resources needed to build healthy families.

The initiative supports expectant and parenting adolescents and young adults as they navigate pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, parenting, mental health, and life transitions. Through evidence-informed education, interactive workshops, peer support, resource navigation, and community partnerships, participants build resilience, strengthen parenting and life skills, increase self-advocacy, and improve access to mental health and community resources that promote long-term family stability.

Evidence-Informed, Community-Based Initiative
I AM ME is delivered through a structured, trauma-informed curriculum that combines maternal mental health education, resilience-building, peer support, life skills development, and resource navigation. Designed for implementation in schools and community settings, the initiative equips participants with practical tools to strengthen emotional well-being, improve family stability, and increase access to supportive services.

Program Outcomes

Participants in the I AM ME initiative gain the knowledge, skills, and support needed to strengthen emotional well-being and family stability. Through participation, individuals are expected to:

Partnership Opportunities Ardyn Hope collaborates with schools, healthcare providers, pregnancy centers, and community organizations to bring maternal wellness, education, and support directly to the women and families they serve. Together, we help mothers build confidence, strengthen support systems, and create healthier outcomes for themselves and their children.

Child Safety Workshop – I AM ME Program

Join Ardyn Hope's I AM ME Program for an interactive Child Safety Workshop designed to empower young mothers and caregivers with practical knowledge to help keep children safe. Participants will learn how to identify potential safety risks, create family safety plans, prepare for emergencies, practice basic first aid and CPR awareness, understand proper car seat safety, and connect with valuable community resources.

Guest speakers from Parkland Health and the American Heart Association will provide expert guidance and answer questions. Prestonwood clients who attend may also earn program points, with additional incentives for bringing an adult support person.

I AM ME Monthly Maternal Wellness Series

Free virtual sessions designed for pregnant and parenting teens, new moms and families. Topics focus on maternal mental health, parenting support, self-advocacy, life skills, and family wellness.

Participants will receive:
